How to use this maintenance log
Enter one row for each inspection, service visit or planned repair. “Completed” means you recorded an activity, not that the equipment is certified safe. Leave cost blank when unknown; zero means you actually spent $0. Download CSV before changing devices, clearing browser data or using private browsing. CSV files can be opened in common spreadsheet programs; check imported values before relying on them.
Example: November 8, 2026 · Heating and cooling · Inspected return filter according to equipment manual · Completed · cost left blank. Record the actual date and your own observation, not a presumed replacement interval.
Privacy, records and safety
Entries are saved with browser local storage only. They are not sent to an Upkeep Atlas account or application API. Anyone with access to this browser profile or an exported CSV may read them; storage may be cleared without warning. “Erase all saved records” deletes this tool's local record only, not downloaded copies. Keep original invoices, warranties and important improvement receipts in a secure location; this simple log is not a substitute.

For electrical, gas, roof, structural or other hazardous work, use a qualified professional rather than relying on this log for DIY instructions.
