Planner, calculators and checklists
Current planner and calculator selections are calculated in your browser, not sent by our app to a storage service. We do not require a login or uploaded home documents. Checklist checkmarks reset when the page refreshes.
Appearance preference
If you choose day or night mode, this website stores only your selected appearance (light or dark) in your browser’s local storage under upkeepatlas-theme. This setting is not an account, is not uploaded to our application server, and can be changed anytime with the header button or removed by clearing the site’s stored data. Without a saved selection, the site follows your device’s color scheme.
Technical hosting data
When a website is hosted online, its hosting and network providers may process standard request information such as IP addresses, browser metadata, requested pages and security logs. Upkeep Atlas targets Cloudflare hosting; consult Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for platform practices.
Google AdSense and advertising technology
Upkeep Atlas includes the Google AdSense advertising script on its configured production website, using publisher ID ca-pub-3399213817491318. The script loads from Google's advertising service. Depending on Google's approval, ad settings and visitor location, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, browser characteristics, page views and cookie or similar identifiers to serve, limit, measure or personalize advertising. Ads may not be visible until the site is approved and ad formats are turned on.
We do not intentionally transmit your planner selections, checklist answers or paint-calculator measurements to an advertising API. However, visiting a page that loads third-party code can disclose standard browser and request information to that provider. Regional consent requirements
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's advertising rules require a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework when serving eligible ads. The publisher must configure the appropriate privacy and consent messages in AdSense before enabling relevant ad serving; installation of the script alone does not establish compliance. Other regions may have additional disclosure and opt-out requirements.
Contact form messages
If you submit our contact form, your name, email address, selected topic and message are sent directly to FormSubmit, a third-party form and email delivery service, and then forwarded to our Proton Mail inbox. FormSubmit uses anti-spam checks (which may involve a CAPTCHA). According to its documentation, it retains form submissions for up to 30 days. We use received messages to read and respond to inquiries and do not ask for passwords, financial details or other sensitive personal information. Contact messages may remain in our email inbox until deleted.
To avoid the contact form service, email us directly at upkeepatlas@protonmail.com. Contact email is not the same as an end-to-end encrypted Proton-to-Proton message if sent through other providers.
