HVAC filter inspection scheduler.

Use the inspection interval from your equipment or filter instructions to put six check dates on your calendar. A check is not an automatic instruction to replace a filter.

Start with your manual. Check the equipment manufacturer's filter type, inspection and replacement instructions first. If you cannot find them, contact the manufacturer or a qualified HVAC technician. Do not assume a universal 30-, 60- or 90-day replacement rule.

30 days is an editable example, not a recommendation. Enter the inspection frequency from your manual or technician. This tool does not infer filter life from pets, dust, thickness or MERV rating.

How the dates are calculated

Each date is the previous check date plus your chosen whole number of calendar days (1–365). For example, a check on November 8 with a 30-day interval leads to December 8. Dates are calculated as calendar days, without time zones or daylight-saving shifts. Print the list and record what you observed; reset the starting date after each real inspection.

What to check—and when to get help

Use the instructions for your exact equipment and filter. Dust, usage and operating conditions can affect inspection needs. If you cannot safely access the filter, notice damage, abnormal airflow or unusual system behavior, contact a qualified HVAC technician. Do not open electrical panels, bypass safety switches or climb into unsafe spaces for a filter check.

This is an on-page calculator, not a push notification or an automatic reminder. No schedule data is saved or sent to Upkeep Atlas. Printing uses your browser's print dialog.
